Our topic today is something that again, really is an obvious topic and is commonly heard but unfortunately is not commonly put to work. Everyone knows that they need to set goals in life and in their home based business but many times we fail actually set the goals and make ourselves work at it. Many people will set a goal and then if they do not meet that goal, they will just decide that it did not work and they were not meant to achieve that goal. The problem here is that this is not an action that is worthy of reward, so most all the time when people do this, they never get the result they desired in the beginning. In order for you to get where you want to go, you can’t just set a goal with a deadline and then give up if you don;t meet that goal in that time span. You must keep working at it, maybe even change your approach slightly, until you reach that goal.

The other thing that is really important with setting a good goal is that it needs to be something important. It needs to be something that is stimulating to you to reach. Your goals should not be set at a level that you know you can obviously achieve, but rather they should be goals that you would get really excited about but that also may seem unrealistic to you in that moment. Unrealistic goals are the best goals to go after, especially in the beginning because if it seems unrealistic at that time then that just means that you have not had a chance to after something larger than what you may have achieved in the past.

For example, for a man like Tony Robbins it seemed very unrealistic and illogical to make $100,000 per day when he first started out. But if you fast forward to where he is today he now earns over a $100,000 per hour at times. The same thing goes for Jim Rohn when he was in his twenties. He could not even afford $2 to buy a box of Girl Scout cookies and now he is in his seventies and makes several million dollars per month. His reality has changed now to expect no less than that amount of money every month.

These success stories started off simply with them expecting to create a result that they did not know how to go after. From there, their belief that they could go after this result created the reality around them that they had doorways that they could enter to begin making that goal happen.

How do you start in selecting a good goal to go after?

First, I figure out something that I specifically want and I write it down. You can’t just say “I would like to do this” in your mind. You have to actually sit down, and write down specifically what you want to do and why. So if your goal is to make $75,000 this year from your home based business then write down exactly what you will gain from making that money and what it will allow you to do. Be very detailed when you do this because you really want it to make an emotional connection.

From there, write down what will be the consequence if you do not make $75,000 this year. Be very specific and detailed with this as well. You want to be able to see the pain that could come from not achieving this goal because this will make you work even harder towards achieving it.

Then, you absolutely need to set a deadline for this goal so that you push yourself and you stay on task. This will keep you on track and keep it fresh on your mind so you are constantly thinking that you need to work towards this goal. The other thing that having a deadline set for yourself will do for you is once you achieve that goal and you meet that deadline, it instantly raises your confidence level and makes you feel happier and better about yourself because you did accomplish this task that you set for yourself.

Always be sure to keep a goal on your mind and stay focused on that goal until you reach it.

Are You Really Communicating Properly?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

Communication is almost a no-brainer of sorts when it comes to business. I am sure that you know that you need to be able to communicate to your prospects well, but are you actually doing it?

What action can you take in order to increase your ability to communicate well in your business?

First, LISTEN. We have all heard this point before. We all know that you are supposed to listen more than you speak when it comes to communicating well. The problem is that most of us do not actually listen well. I am guilty of it as well at times. I am sure you can think of a time when you were talking to a prospect or someone and the entire time they were speaking, you were already thinking about the next thing you were going to say, rather than truly taking in what they had to say and responding to it.

Second, respond with criticism and not with empathy. This does not mean that you put down whatever it is that the person said. It means that you listen to what they said, and you really think about it and go over it in your mind and think “What can I take from this?” This allows you to really structure each others thoughts and build one each others thoughts as well so that you can end up with a great product of that conversation.

One thing I really like to do when speaking with my downline and with my prospects is to use the power of “why” in my conversations. What I mean by this is anytime someone says that they want to accomplish something, I ask them why. After they answer that “why,” I ask them “why?” again. For example, if one of my prospects says “Dianne, I want to make $40,000 in my home based business this year and teach my downline to do the exact same.” I ask them why they want to do that. They might say something like “Well $40,ooo this year would give me enough to pay my bills off, and give me some extra income to use to enjoy with my friends and family. And I want to teach my members to do the same because I really want to help others change their life’s and live free of financial stress.” After this, I would simply ask “Why do you want to do that?” again because it forces them to really make a strong connection in their minds with how much they really do want to make this change in their life. I do this 3-5 times until they really have a strong “Why” in their own minds.

So what’s this going to do for my business and what if I choose not to better my communication skills?

This is just one example of good communication within your team and with your prospects. Good communication literally allows you to have your prospects sell themselves on the idea of joining your business or buying your products. Without this skill, you’ll have to work much harder to keep your team moving, and to convince your prospects that you truly are the solution to their problems. The stronger ability that you have of penetrating your ideas into your prospects, the more likely you are to build that relationship with them that ends up being great for them and building their success, and also putting money in your bank account and building your downline. If your prospects do not feel that they are getting the message that they are looking for from you, they will go to someone else who can communicate correctly with them and they will not spend their money with you.

Pay better attention to your communication, and you will always get better results.

Are Your Prospects Hearing Features Or Benefits?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

First, let’s define the difference between a feature and a benefit. A feature is anything that does not have to do with the client or prospect themselves, but rather talks just about the business. This includes things dealing with only your company, your product, or your compensation plan. These are things that are “outside of the prospect.” Some examples of features would be:

Features:

Our company has the best compensation plan and pays the highest commissions.

Our product is patented.

Our company has been in business for 25 years.

Benefits

A benefit on the other hand, is anything that solely has to do with the prospect. This includes anything that will directly effect them personally and usually compliments the benefits. Some examples of benefits would be:

Our company has the best compensation plan and pays the highest commissions—- so that your work can pay off more for you and you can bring more money home to your family.

Our product is patented—- so you know that no matter what other product another company has to offer, yours will be unique so that you will always feel good about what you have to offer to your prospects.

Our company has been in business for 25 years—- so you can feel comfortable knowing that we are well established and will always be here for you.

In these examples I separated the features from the benefits by using the dashes. These are just a few general examples of features and benefits of course.

The reason using benefits is much more appealing to your audience is because it causes an actual emotional trigger that makes them relate to whatever it is that you’re presenting them. A very important and imperative point to remember is that your prospects are always, constantly thinking one thing whether its consciously or sub-consciously: “What’s in it for me?” That is what everything boils down to no matter what a person is being presented. The first thing that a prospect will want answered in their mind is “What’s in it for me?” So constantly remind yourself of that whenever you are talking to someone about anything you are trying to present to them. You’ll always want to try to use more benefits than you do features.

If you’re ever speaking to a potential client in anyway, whether it’s in an e-mail, on the phone, or in person, always ask the question “What’s in it for me?” at the end of every feature/benefit you give that prospect. Remember, a lot of prospects may already have knowledge of Network Marketing or MLM, and to them a lot of the features will make sense and they’ll be able to see the benefits themselves. But, also remember that a lot of prospects will not have much knowledge of Network Marketing or MLM and may be completely new to it, and will need those added details to really make a connection and see what you have to offer them. This is something we all know we just may not be utilizing it.

If you haven’t been using this simple skill when talking to prospects or marketing your business, then you may have noticed you’ve been getting a lot more rejections than you have positive feedback or people joining your business. If you’re new to network marketing, then now is the time to immediately start out using this simple skill to really increase your success rate right from the beginning. Today is the day to take a new approach and make a positive change in your life and the people’s lives around you.

What will happen if I don’t begin speaking in a “benefits style?”

If you keep telling everyone the features of your product or business, you’ll continue to drive people away. It does not matter how amazing your business is, if nobody can see how it is actually going to help them and improve their life, then they will not see a reason to buy your product or join your business. You will continue to work hard to try to build your business, but you probably won’t have the success that you really want. You will most likely end up with a garage full of products that you bought, and feeling discouraged because you feel that you worked so hard but did not get the results you wanted. Features will keep you from that six-figure income that you want. Benefits will get you there.

When you begin to focus on how working with you, or buying your products, or taking part in your opportunity can help people understand how much faster they can get results by working along side you, you can increase your ability to persuade people to lean toward working with you. This will crush your competition in your prospect’s eyes because it is very likely that your competition is focusing on the features.

The Power Of Focus

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

This might sound really ordinary and plain and simple to you, and you may be thinking “Everyone knows how to focus and that it’s important.” This may be true, but what we also know is that with Focus comes results and 80% of the population that try some sort of business or home based business usually end up quitting. A part of this issue is because a lot of people think that spending a long duration of time on a project matters more than the true amount of focus that is put into that project. When done properly, you can take 10 hours worth of typical work and decrease that down to 2-3 hours if you have the right focus.

You have more than 60,000 thoughts run through your mind each day. Many of these thoughts really have no meaning, they are just thoughts that cause chaos and confusion in your mind that cause it to turn into a giant traffic jam. This is what leads a lot of people to quitting because they cannot focus properly. If you can focus properly on one single goal, in one single direction, you can block out the traffic jam and detour right to the end result that you wish to have. You have to focus on the end result and the solution to the problems that you have. Never focus on the problem, but always focus on the solution to that problem.

So how do I begin to use the Power of Focus to maximize my potential?

First, stop and write down in specific detail, exactly what you want to accomplish right now. Find out where you want to go. Then, begin FOCUSING on why you want to do this and write those reasons down as well. Do not let negative thoughts of “I don’t know if I can do this” or anything of that nature into your focus. Only focus on the end result that you wish to accomplish and have very specific, personal reasons attached to that goal so that you can increase the importance on that task in your mind. Don’t try to focus on multiple things at once. Simply focus on getting one thing done and put everything you can into it.

What might happen if you just go full force at your goal without true focus and meaning attached to it?

Well, my question to you is this: Do you want results or not? Do want to have the exact result that you are looking for, or do you want to shoot at your goal aimlessly and hope for the best? If you cannot focus entirely on what it is that you are trying to reach, and you just try to work hard at it and keep moving, then you really are selling yourself short because there is a much better chance that you will not reach that goal. If you do reach that goal, without proper Focus, you will have had to work much harder, and much longer towards getting to that goal then if you would have started from the beginning with that one goal in mind and truly focused on achieving it.

The other thing you want to do in order to ensure that you focus properly on something is to give yourself a date as a deadline that you want to meet that goal on. This will cause you to work even smarter and even harder with the correct focus. The tortoise always wins in the story of the Tortoise and the Hare because his focus and his persistence is set on the end goal and he lets nothing else slow him down or stop him until he reaches his goal of winning the race.

Is F.E.A.R. Ruining Your Success That You Deserve In Your Business?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 15, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

Today we’re going to talk about something that many Personal Development coaches and successful speakers will talk about and that is controlling your emotions and eliminating Fear in your daily life and in your business. We have all allowed Fear and doubt to hurt experiences in our life and hinder our successes at some time or another. Even more true for this, is 99% of the time, we have then looked back at that time when we knew we let our emotions get the best of us, and we’ve felt frustrated and disappointed in ourselves because we know that we are better than that.

So what exactly is F.E.A.R. anyway?

False Evidence that Appears Real

I don’t think that needs much explanation for you to really understand why we break the word “Fear” down to that. Truly that is all any of our feelings of fear are, is thoughts of things that are unlikely to happen in a given scenario that we convince ourselves is a possibility and we continue to use this as evidence in our minds, as to why we should or should not do something.

So how do you control your Fear and turn it against itself?

The best way to do this is to use what we call Emotional Anchors. We all have Anchors that we have built in our minds over the years that cause us to think certain thoughts, remember certain things, and feel certain ways. An Anchor is some sort of physical, mental, or emotional trigger that is set off by a certain event that brings you back to the feelings and thoughts that you had when that Anchor was created. For example, if you had verbally aggressive parents as a child, and your father used a certain tone of voice when he spoke to you and when he was unhappy and you hear someone talking and they just happen to be using that same tone of voice, it can set off that Anchor that you have from when you were a child and instantly cause you to have feelings of fear or sadness.

This same thing goes for happy thoughts and emotions. Lets say you have a song that may have been your favorite song a while back and you happened to listen to it a lot while you were on a vacation. Next time you hear that song, you might begin feeling the relaxed feeling that you felt while you were on vacation, and you might start thinking of memories of that vacation.

How does this help you in your daily life and business?

Well that answer is actually very simple. Think about a time that you have felt very stressed and very frustrated, but you had work that had to be done or you had to speak in front of a group of people. Chances are that because you were not in your best mood in order to put your best foot forward and do the best work or give the best speech that you could, that you can now look back on that time and think “Sure I could have done that much better had I been in a better mental state.”

But, if you think about a time when you had work to do or a project that you were working on and you were excited, confident, and happy when you were working, then you can probably look back and see that you really did a great job and really went over and above what you normally would have.

If you cannot control these emotions in your daily life, you will continue having these up’s and down’s in the quality of your work and in the overall quality of your experiences. In order to be the leader that people will really want to follow and join in your business, you need to be able to control your emotions to the point of going from frustrated and stressed to empowered and motivated in the blink of an eye. You need to have the ability to make the best decisions, and take the best actions even when you are in the thick of it all and you feel lost and confused, and lead you and your team to the top.

Every successful business person and speaker has Anchors that they use. If you watch them right before they come on stage, if you can see them backstage you will see them going through a sort of ritual where they get their mind in tune with the best state it can be in to achieve the best end result possible while theyr’e on stage.

How Can I Begin To Create My Own Anchors & Begin Changing My Life For The Better?

Let’s say that you want to create an Anchor that will make you feel relaxed and at peace. What you might do, is go to a quiet place that you enjoy, maybe a park or a stream or the beach, whatever it is and allow yourself to relax. Then, think of a time when you remember feeling completely relaxed and at peace, even if it was just for a few seconds or minutes. Think of that time in as much detail as possible until you almost have the feeling as if you were there again. As soon as you feel yourself completely relaxed and at peace, do something with your body that will be unique so that every time you recreate that action, you feel relaxed. So for example, as soon as you feel relaxed and at peace, maybe snap your fingers on both hands and say to yourself “boom!” This may sound sort of silly but it needs to be something unique that will allow you to go back to that moment every time you do it. This is how you create an Anchor that you can then use at anytime to cause yourself to feel relaxed and at peace.

So what’s the risk if you do not stop and begin creating positive Anchors for yourself?

You’re already creating new Anchors on a regular basis. So why not create the exact one’s that you want to have so you can control your emotions? Some people may be saying “Well I have gone through my entire life without ever doing this Anchor thing, what do I have to lose if I don’t begin creating my own Anchors?” Well if you had known how to do this a long time ago, chances are that you would have been able to avoid some of the hardships and challenges that you had to face in your life and you would have been able to succeed at things much better than you did. So by beginning to create new, empowering Anchors now, you will be able to do enjoy much better results in the future with everything that you do.

You control your outcome, and your emotions and the contolr that you have over your emotions have a great deal to do with your outcome.

How & Why Creating Your Own Attraction Videos Grows Your Income

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , on December 14, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

Why is creating your own videos so important? Sure, it is a very scary thing to do for most people. I know when I first started, I was pretty scared! But here is the power of videos: They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well if this is true, then a video is worth a million words. For example, if you have ever been someone who has bought leads or has had to call leads, you know that you can only call one lead at a time, and it is very time consuming. A video on the other hand, can be put out on the internet where it has unlimited potential to be seen. A video can be watched a thousand times a day, by a thousand different people, and still get the same exact point across each time. You can’t do that by calling people one by one, can you?

Think about it for just a second if you would. When you see a video of someone, or you see someone on television, you can connect with that person much, much more and you are able to really stay interested in what that person is doing or saying much easier than if you were to only hear them on the phone or on the radio. When someone comes across a video of you on the internet, they will be able to connect with you and begin to trust you much faster than if they were just reading about you or hearing your voice. Video has the power to really keep a person’s interest because it is stimulating to both the eyes and the ears. If you are only listening to an audio of something, your eyes may become distracted by something else that you see and suddenly you realize that you do not remember most of what you just heard.

This is only a small part of the true power of video.

After I began making my own videos, people began looking at me as someone that they would want to meet and someone that they wanted to learn from and follow. I started getting calls and e-mails from people asking me to call them back so we could talk about my business and talk about what i was doing so that I could teach them and show them how to build their business. Also, it made it so much easier when I talked to people because there was a comfort level there that each of my prospects had with me because of my videos, that would have otherwise not been there.

A lot of people will even watch my videos for months and over a years time and finally call me and join my business. They become very comfortable with me and will even sometimes say that because of watching my videos, they feel like they have already known me and trusted me for years. This is what leads them to join my business and not another person’s business because through watching my videos, I have been able to build a level of trust and rapport with my prospects which makes them feel that they should join my home based business, and none of the competition’s.

So what do you need to get started on making your own videos? Does it cost much?

Well it’s pretty simple and it absolutely does NOT cost much! You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a camera and expensive, confusing technology. The camera I first bought was around $100. You can even spend less than that and still have what you need in order to record good videos. All you need to be able to do is set up your camera at eye level, and have it a few feet away from you and you can shoot some of your best videos.

How will this effect your Home Based Business if you choose not to begin putting yourself out there on the internet with videos?

Well doing just one video will cost you such a small price of time and money, yet can grab the attention of thousands of people that are actually interested in your business and what you have to say. Compare that to if you don’t have any videos out there, and you are just calling leads, and going to weekly meetings- you may be able to talk to 200 people per week and it will be very time consuming. Chances are that out of those 200 people, only 20 of them or less will actually be interested in your business. If you do not put videos out on the internet that introduce you and your business and what you have to offer to people, you are missing out on such an enormous amount of clients and new downline members that you could otherwise have joining your business every week.

Raise Your Standards & Increase Your Rate of Success

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 14, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

The importance of raising your standards is so immense that it is almost unbelievable. Absolutely all of the top achiever, the people who have got what they want in life, and all of the people who have made it to the next level have never had the standards of having and doing just enough and doing their best and if it works, then it works and if something doesn’t work out then too bad. The people who really have what they want in their life and have achieved the type of success that they are looking for, always push themselves far beyond their limits and raise their standards far above what they feel is even possible for them to realistically achieve.

So many people out there today have so much potential and so much immense value to offer to this world that could easily bring them to that next level in their life. The problem is that many of these people do not actually push themselves and raise their standards to the point that they can truly unleash this potential that they have to do great things for themselves and others. There have been people that have possessed a ton of skill in a given area, but have never fully put that skill to work and have been left in the shadows by people with less skill, that have higher standards for themselves.

For example, there have been many great athletes in the world that have had a lot of skill in the sports that they played and that had a ton of potential to be the absolute best at the game that they played. But, these same athletes have been overtaken time and time again by other athletes with less skill, and with more challenges facing them. This did not happen by luck. It happened because those other athletes chose to do more each day, and to push themselves to grow much more than anyone else.

You can have all the knowledge and all the skill in the world, but if you do not hold yourself to higher STANDARDS and force yourself to do more every day, then that skill and that knowledge is not going to get you anywhere.

Many people look at this idea and they think “Well it sounds like in order for me to raise my standards, it is going to cause some stress and some discomfort because it will force me to go outside of my comfort zone.”

Well, those people are absolutely right! My only response for these people is to look at where you are now and where you have been in the past, and think about whether or not your current standards that you have for yourself are really going to change that. Is your current situation going to change or get better if you do not raise your standards? Do you want to continue earning $500 per year? Or are you finally ready to earn $50,000-$500,000 per year in your home based business?

Yesterday you were just beginning to learn, and today you are gaining closer and closer to your dreams, but where is it that you want to be tomorrow? When you raise your standards and you demand more from yourself than anyone else could ever demand from you, you WILL be somewhere better tomorrow, than where you are today.

Your STANDARDS determine your outcome.

Is Procrastination Destroying Your Business?

Posted in Uncategorized on December 14, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

Procrastination is something that everyone faces at some time in their life. We all have put something off, which we could have done much earlier than we really ended up doing it. We as people usually procrastinate because we are trying to move away from pain by not doing the thing which we know we need to do, because we associate some sort of negative, or painful experience with doing that task. The thing that I find interesting about this, is that after we put off doing whatever it is that we do not want to do, and when the time comes that we finally do it, it makes us feel worse in the end because we then feel lazy, stressed, guilty and unproductive because we put it off and procrastinated.

So really, the experience ends up being more painful in the end, than it would have been if we did not procrastinate in the first place.

Procrastination is literally a silent killer. If people let procrastination rule their life, it has the potential to completely destroy their business and hurt many other aspects of their life as well.

Tony Robbins calls procrastination a ritual. Many tribes and different groups in the world practice rituals in their daily life as part of their beliefs. Unfortunately, when we allow procrastination to become a ritual of sorts in our life, it does nothing but destroy everything that we let it into. The only way for us to break this ritual is to leave the tribe, the tribe of procrastination, and find another tribe that practices rituals of success and motivation. Now obviously I mean this figuratively but in it’s basic form, this is exactly what you must do. You have to crush any feelings of false fear as soon as you sense them, so you can rid yourself of procrastination.

You literally have to procrastinate, procrastination! This is the only time you can procrastinate is if you are procrastinating procrastination.

Fear is one of the worst contributors to procrastination. Many times people will make excuses in their own minds as to why they shouldn’t do something or why they cannot do something and this will cause them to procrastinate. We will tell ourselves “Well I’m not ready to do that yet….or…. I need to learn more about that subject first before I keep going.” And the list goes on as to the excuses that we make up for ourselves.

So how do you shut off procrastination? How do you get rid of it and stop letting it crush your true desires and dreams?

As Tony Robbins says ” Turn your Should’s into Must’s.” Stop looking at all of the things that you should do or could do and start turning those things into immediate action. If you’re sitting there thinking that you should be working harder and more consistently on your business, turn that “should” in your mind into a “Must.” You MUST work harder and more consistently on your business. Anytime you feel yourself saying the word “should” in your mind, instantly make it a “must.”

You know where you want to be in your life so do not let something as simple as procrastination stop you from getting there.

If you continue to let procrastination into your life and into your business, you will continue to have the same problems and the same limited success that you have in the past. It is much more likely that you will never earn the income that you want, and you’ll never reach those goals that you have set for yourself because you allowed yourself to keep putting things off rather than moving forward and closer to your dreams each day.

Nobody who has achieved great things in their life and reached the dreams that they had for themselves, has ever reached those goals while allowing themselves to procrastinate. An Olympic Gold Medalist does not allow themselves to procrastinate. Be your own Olympic Athlete and crush procrastination today.

See you on the next lesson.

Are You Ready To Make Results Happen Faster?

Posted in Uncategorized on December 5, 2009 by diannemuhly

www.24hourwebbuilders.com

On the last lesson we talked about Leadership and growing yourself personally and why it is so important to your business. Now we’re going to take that a step further and talk about how to make this happen in a lot less time.

The way that you do this is by learning from a Personal Coach or Mentor. You want to learn from someone who has already accomplished the same goal that you are trying to accomplish.

The average marketer views their upline as people that they should look up to and go to for mentoring and advice on how to build a successful downline. The problem is that the average marketer has an upline that really doesn’t fully know how to coach and train their downline to be successful. Their upline isn’t a real coach at all, because 95% of them haven’t actually achieved much more than their immediate downline has in terms of making money.

Once I realized this and I went out and found a proper coach that had accomplished the same goals that I was working towards, my business began to change and grow exponentially compared to my past results. My online marketing efforts actually began to pay off and I began profiting from them rather than investing money and seeing little or no return. Having an experienced coach by your side to guide you step by step will drastically reduce the amount of money, time, and effort that you will have to put into your business in order to make your paycheck grow.

Now if you are like I was just over a year ago, you may be wondering what to look for in finding a great coach and mentor that you can feel comfortable with investing your time and money into.

As I already said, you will definitely want to find a coach that has already accomplished at least some of the goals that you currently are working toward. What this means is that you do not have to go out and find someone who has been in the industry for 15 years and makes 10 times what you make now. Rather, look for someone who is just a few steps above you so that they can still relate very closely to you, but at the same time they are high enough above you that the tools and skills you can learn from them will be able to elevate you and your business much higher than your current state. So for example, if you are currently not making any money in your home based business, find someone who is making $2000-$4000 per month in their business. Chances are that person still has a very close recognition of the exact steps that it took to get them from $0 per month to that $2000-$4000 per month.

If you’re new to this industry or at least new to building your business online, don’t find that person who has a million dollar income because in reality, you will be selling yourself short. While you would undoubtedly learn a lot of great, valuable information from having them as a coach, they would have such a drastically different perspective on everything in life that you would more than likely find it hard to truly bridge the gaps and successfully lift yourself from where you are now, to where they are.

Overall, having a great coach that is well matched to your needs will decrease your learning curve and exponentially increase your confidence level to the point that it will literally feel harder to fail than it is to succeed in your business. When you find a coach that will take the time to truly walk you through everything you could possibly need to know, it will take that giant rock in your stomach that most of us have had at one time or another, the one that sits in our gut and makes us come up with FEARS that allow ourselves to self sabotage our success, and it will crush and grind that giant rock into a tiny particle that will just wash away like sand. That is how much having a true mentor and coach will raise your confidence level, and in turn will raise your success level to the point where you find it impossible to ever feel like you have lost.

So what if you decide that maybe having a coach sounds good, but you’re still going to just go out there and do everything on your own and figure it out yourself?

Well, I will not be the only one to tell you that the road to success will be much bumpier, and filled with much more heart ache. That doesn’t mean that you still cannot get to your destination, but it does mean that you will likely suffer a few more flat tires and will have much more likeliness of giving up and quitting which will only make you feel worse about yourself. Every successful athlete, entertainer, and business professional in this world has had some type of coach to help them elevate their success level and keep them from giving up.

When you say to yourself, “I don’t need a coach….” all you are really doing is ensuring that you will experience a lot more worry, a lot more fear, and you’ll be spending a lot more money trying to get where you want to be. In order to generate results in this industry, you need a well put together plan of action and that is very hard to really have for yourself if you do not first truly have an idea of what will work best and what will not work.

In closing, I want you to know that I did not learn this on my own. I learned this from a very successful man that many of you may know, Tony Robbins. I learned from him that when you model a good coach, by modeling their skills and the way that they take action, you can achieve the same goals that they have in at least half as much time because you are able to learn from their mistakes rather than going through those same mistakes yourself and take more of the right steps towards your goal. If you learn from good people and a good coach, you will be 99% more likely to achieve your results that you are looking for and you’ll do so ten times faster, with a lot less heart ache and turmoil in your life.

See you on the next lesson.

Leadership- A Key Trait To Building Your Business That Many Overlook

Leadership is by far one of the most important traits for someone to have if they plan to be successful at anything in life. Every country has a leader, and every successful business has been built by a great leader at some point.

So why is being a leader so important to your business?

People are naturally pulled towards others who they view as being “better” than them or more successful than them. The reason for this, is when we see someone who we feel is at a higher level than us, we also see them as being valuable to us because we can learn from that person and elevate ourselves. If you wanted to learn how to cook better, you wouldn’t ask someone who cooks just as good as you do. You would ask someone who is better than you so that you may learn from them.

When others view you as a leader, they feel that you have what it takes to get them from where they currently are, to where they want to be. If people see that you have been in their shoes and that you have raised yourself from that, then they will believe that you can tell them how to get where you are as well.

So many people have the true desire to succeed and they really HOPE that they do succeed. The sad truth is that Hope and Desire will do nothing if you do not first have a strong, confident belief in yourself. Without having confidence in yourself and believing that you can and will succeed, it is going to be much more difficult to achieve your goal and your desiered outcome.

The thing that helped me when I was started out, and the same thing I tell others to do is to find someone who you feel is just a little bit better than you and learn from them. Find someone who you see as being successful and wealthy and begin copying them. Copy their attitude, their posture, their beleiefs, whatever it is that you see in them that you want for yourself.

There are some basic traits that all leaders have that really begin to make them a leader.

  • They do not worry about other people’s opinions. If they believe something can work, they focus on it.
  • Leaders do not rely on other people for their own success. Sure, they leverage other people’s skills to help themselves, but they understand that at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is how much they THEMSELVES did to work towards their goal.
  • They do not function from a state of “need.” Rather they function daily on a state of abundance and mindset that they already have the wealth and success that they want in life.
  • Leaders do not focus on problems or negatives. They focus on positives and solutions to problems.

So you may still be thinking— “I’ve never viewed myself as much of a leader before…What do I do to begin growing as a Leader?”

Well as I mentioned before, begin emulating someone that you look up to. Find a role model.

Then, begin changing yourself first. Find your strengths and realize that you are good as things. Don’t be afraid to show your confidence in being good as something.

Next, take on the challenge of leading a few people. As an example, if you’re pretty good at Pay Per Click Advertising, train 1-2 others on how they can do it too.

Also, show others that taking a chance shouldn’t be looked at as scary or negative. Realize that you need to always grow personally and you must find ways to do that. Purchase trainings and e-books… join a group training, find a personal mentor and have them train you. Leaders understand that even if they spend $500 for a training product and only learn 1-2 new things from it, that product was still worth that money because they increased their value to others which increases the amount of people that are attratced to you and see you as a leader.

Lastly, really invest in YOU! Self reflection and Person Development of any kind is priceless. Listen to some of the successful trainers and speakers out there today and take their advice and put it to work. People like Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, and the list goes on. Pick up some of these people’s trainings and courses and truly put them to work in your life and begin changing yourself for the better. Change your habits from bad to good, and from good to great and prosperous.

What happens if you choose not to better yourself as a leader and offer value to others?

Many people still decide that they don’t need to grow themselves in order to grow their paycheck. Some still believe that if they go and buy all the fancy pamphlets and products, then they can still explode their business and sit back and relax. Almost all of these people never actually have the success that they desire and generally have a very “up and down” business.

So if you choose not to grow as a leader, people will not view you as someone they can grow from. They won’t be attracted to you and they will choose to spend their money with someone else. People will walk right by you and find someone else who can offer value to them and their team. Remember, many people that become prospects to you, are not only thinking for themselves but they also have teams of 20-100 or more people that they can bring into your business and into your downline. If you can’t offer value and leadership to them, why would they choose you?

Start today to grow yourself into a better leader and realize that by doing this, you’re already so much closer to the freedom that you want in your life than 95% of the other Network Marketers.

See you on the next lesson.
